Terms & Conditions

These terms set out the basis on which we provide our services and how we use our website. We have written them in plain language so they are easy to understand.

A note before you read on

If anything in these terms is unclear, please contact us. We are happy to explain. Using our website or engaging our services means you have read and understood these terms. If you are uncertain about anything, we encourage you to speak with us before proceeding.

1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Rak Reuan website (accessible at rakreuan.biz) and the professional services we offer. They are governed by the laws of Thailand. By visiting our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page, with the revision date shown above.

2. Our Services

Rak Reuan provides family legal advisory and support services in Thailand. Our current service offerings are:

  • Gentle Initial Advice (฿3,700) — a first consultation to understand your circumstances and explain your options.
  • Agreement Drafting (฿5,700) — careful preparation of family agreements designed to be fair, clear, and plainly explained.
  • Complete Case Guidance (฿7,900) — patient, end-to-end support through a family matter, covering paperwork, negotiation, and representation.

The scope and terms of any specific engagement will be set out in a separate letter of engagement provided to you before work begins. In the event of any conflict, the letter of engagement takes precedence over these general terms.

3. Using Our Website

You may use our website for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. In particular, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website or related systems.
  • Transmit any material that is unlawful, harmful, offensive, or misleading.
  • Use automated tools to extract content from our website without our written permission.
  • Misrepresent your identity or your relationship with any person or organisation.

We reserve the right to restrict access to our website for any person who we reasonably believe has acted in breach of these terms.

4. Information on This Website

The content on this website is provided for general information purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is formed by your visiting this website or submitting an enquiry.

While we take care to ensure the accuracy of the information we publish, laws and regulations can change, and individual circumstances vary widely. We recommend that you contact us directly before taking any action in reliance on content found here.

5. Enquiries and Contact Forms

When you submit an enquiry through our website, we will use the information you provide to respond to your message. Submitting an enquiry does not create a legal engagement or a client relationship; that is established only when we have agreed the scope of work and issued a letter of engagement.

Please do not submit confidential or sensitive information through our website contact form unless you are comfortable doing so. If you have concerns about this, we welcome you to call us instead.

6. Fees and Payment

Our fees for each service are as set out in Section 2 above, and will be confirmed in writing before any work begins. Payment terms will be specified in your letter of engagement.

Fees are payable in Thai Baht (THB). We will discuss payment arrangements with you in a calm and straightforward way, and we are happy to answer any questions about costs before you commit.

7. Professional Standards and Confidentiality

Our advisers work in accordance with the professional standards applicable to legal service providers in Thailand. We treat all client information with strict confidentiality, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

We may be required to disclose information in certain limited circumstances — for example, where required by law or by a court order — and we will always handle such situations with care and with appropriate notice to you where possible.

8. Limitations of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Rak Reuan's liability to you in connection with our services is limited to direct losses arising from our own negligence or wilful default, and in any case to the fees paid by you for the relevant service.

We are not responsible for any indirect, consequential, or unforeseeable losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, personal injury, or any other matter that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Intellectual Property

The content and design of this website — including text, images, graphics, and layout — belong to Rak Reuan and are protected by copyright. You may print or save pages for your personal, non-commercial use, but you may not reproduce, distribute, or adapt the content for other purposes without our written consent.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website may include links to external websites for your convenience. These links do not indicate our endorsement of those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

11. Termination

Either party may end an engagement by giving reasonable written notice, subject to any specific terms agreed in the letter of engagement. We will always discuss any concerns with you openly before any such step is considered.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
